The Unwritten Book

There are also many other things that Jesus did,
but if these were to be described individually,
I do not think the whole world would contain the books
that would be written.

We do not have access to every aspect of the life of Jesus.
The Gospel writers preserved what they consider to be noteworthy.
We are forever curious about other things
Jesus may have done.

Even if you live in the same house with someone
 you do not know every aspect of that person's life.

We all have parts of our lives that we hold inside...good or bad.

With Jesus we want to more just because
 there is so much we do not know.

We only have three years of the life of Jesus recorded for us.

Jesus did not sit down one day to write his memoirs
like our presidents often write.

Jesus did not keep a daily journal.
He did not record his inner most thoughts.

Can you imagine what might happen
 if someone would claim to have
 the actual writings of Jesus.

Of course we don't know if Jesus could write.

There was no cell phone to catch Jesus
in the act of healing.
No one recorded his voice.
We only have what was written 

sixty or seventy years after the fact.

Paul come to his understanding and love
of the person of Jesus
through those who cared enough
to make the effort to share.

Jesus is still acting among us today.
We believe in the living Jesus.
He sends the Holy Spirit to be with us...
to guide us in his ways.

You are Blessed by a living Jesus.
You are the living proof
 that the unwritten book still has power.

All that you do that is good for the glory of God

is a part of the 'unwritten book'.
