Look to the East

Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son,
and they shall name him Emmanuel,
...which means “God is with us.” 

Behold the day is coming...look to the east...
It is the coming of the Lord.
The one we long for is coming...
he is coming to be with us...to be one of us.
God is truly with us...
He comes to us in the silence and stillness of our heart.

The Lord is coming to save us with truth and justice.
He is the sprout from the shoot of Jesse.
He is the blossom, the pure flower of love.

God used the prophets, relatives, angels and dreams
to prepare the way of the Lord.
How are your preparations going for his coming?
This is not just another holiday celebration.
This is evidence of the greatest love ever known to mankind.
Even those who do not believe come to the manger
and gaze upon the loveliness.

The manger scene is frozen in time, but the coming
of the Lord has never been more real.

He comes to save us. to love us, and to be loved by us.
Who does not love a baby?

Look to the East a new day is dawning...
a day of Blessing is about to unfold in our soul.
Come, Jesus, Come.
We wait in stillness for your presence.
