Steady Heart Beat

~~~ Isaiah 40:1-11 ~~~ Psalm 96 ~~~ Matthew 18:12-14

If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray,
will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills
and go in search of the stray? 
And if he finds it, amen, I say to you, he rejoices more over it
than over the ninety-nine that did not stray. 

When you find yourself in the awkward position of being
 the one sheep who is lost do not despair...do not be embarrassed...
do not give up or become discouraged.

You belong to the Lord and he will not give up
 trying to find you and gather you up into his arms.
He will scoop you up into his arms.
He will carry you back to the flock with joy in his heart.

He will take great delight in bringing you comfort.
In his arms you will safe...
In his arms you will rest and relax.
In his arms you will find the comfort of a child
 in its mother's arms.

In his arms he will Bless you for he has found you
 and brought you home with him.

There is much peace and comfort
 in hearing his heart beat steady for you.
