Angel Duties

...the works of God are to be declared and made known.

When your prayers are answered what is your first response?

This is one of the benefits of belonging to a faith filled community.

In my faith community we communicate

 the good news of God's works

 through emails and social media.

Every time we see the hand of God at work

 in our lives we need to let it be known.

Tobit did not hesitate to give God praise for his restored sight.

We all have things in our life we can 

attribute to the power of God.

What is it in your life?

If you are drawing a blank...

look for something that you 

might have thought did not even count.

I can now tell you that when you, Tobit, and Sarah prayed, 

it was I who presented and read the record of your prayer

before the Glory of the Lord

The angel Raphael is now ready to reveal

his true identity...he is one of God's angels.

 He is eager to share that he interceded 

on their behalf before God.

Now that his job as their angel is done

he wants them to know. 

We are also angels to one another.
Sometimes we can be anonymous angels, silent partners.
Other times we can be more like the town criers.
If we are angels to others then others are also angels for us.

Let us rejoice and declare the works of the Lord in our life.
There are angels watching over you...
carrying your prayers and petitions,
presenting before God.
