But blessed are your eyes, because they see,
and your ears, because they hear.
God came to Moses in a 'dense cloud'
so that the people were able to see and hear Moses.
God remained hidden by the cloud.
God wanted the people to have confidence in Moses.
God knew the people needed consistency...
this was accomplished through the leadership of Moses.
When Jesus came; the concept of God
remaining hidden was abolished.
Jesus came to reveal the mysteries of the Father to us.
Many were not ready to see or to hear the message.
Even today we those who for whatever reason
do not see and do not hear.
Some are themselves are lost in the cloud of their own ego.
Blessed are those who have allowed God to open their eyes...
to open their ears.
What follows next is just as important.
What do you do with what you have seen and heard?
See...hear and be changed.
Live your life as one who does see and one who dies hear.
Treat others by the measure with which you
see and hear what Jesus reveals.
It is always possible to see more.
It is always possible to hear better.
It is always possible to be Blessed with
deeper understanding.
May the God of Moses
and Our Lord, Jesus Christ
continue to open our eyes and ears.
