Unlimited Possibilities

~~~ Sirach 17:20-24 ~~~ Psalm 32 ~~~ Mark 10:17-27 ~~~

All things are possible for God.

There is nothing too evil, painful
or devastating that God cannot use.

He forgives the worst possible offenses.
He relieves the worst pain and suffering;
physical, mental and spiritual.

The most devastating events in our life can be made whole.
It is God alone who can put the broken pieces
of our life back together again.

As we commemorate today those who have served our country;
we also honor their pain and suffering.

We remember those who have given their lives
leaving behind loved ones struggling as they face another day.

It is God who has the power to lift them out of darkness.
There are so many inspiring stories of how
our veterans have turned their injuries into joy.

God never abandons us even in our darkest of nights.
There is a still small light from God
that will grow if we but give it a tiny bit of air.

His grace will sustain us.
His Spirit will guide and strengthen us.
His love will make us whole again.

All things are possible for God

These words alone give me courage to trust in the Lord.
He did not leave us to make our way alone.
He sent down his Spirit to live within our heart.

May we experience a greater
trust in God when all seems lost.
There is no other who overcomes all that is negative.
