Flip the Switch to ON

You belong to God, children, and you have conquered them,
for the one who is in you
is greater than the one who is in the world.

Jesus was in the world but was not ruled by the world.
Jesus knew what was in him...
what he was united with,
was far greater than anything of the world.

Jesus did not function by the standards of the world.
Jesus operated from who he was inside.
Jesus lived from the God within.

When Jesus became one of us, a human person,
he never lost touch with the one who he was inside.

This is where we struggle with ourselves.
We too have the spirit of God within our soul, but we
are not always able to free ourselves from the clutches of the world.

Multitudes of people, sick and lame,
 came to Jesus because he represented light to them.
Illness can oftentimes feel much like being trapped in the dark.

Those who were healed by Jesus were deeply
 touched by his inner light.

This inner light has also been brought to us.
This is the light of hope.
This is the light of compassion.
This is the light of forgiveness and love.

This is the very same light that we must reveal to others.
It is precisely this light that is needed in our world today.

Scripture tells us we can do all things
 in him who strengthens us.
This strength lies within our soul.
This strength comes from God within.

God is with us more closely than we might imagine.
He sent the Spirit of God to be with us.
This Spirit is not controlled by the world. This Spirit
 is not dictated to by the world.

...for the one who is in you
is greater than the one who is in the world.

Allow the one who is Blessing you from within
dispel the darkness of the world.
Flip the switch to ON!

You belong to God and he gives you
 his peace and joy.

Come, let us adore him!
