~~~ 2 Macabees 7:1, 20-31 ~~~ Psalm 17 ~~~ Luke 19:11-28 ~~~
...to everyone who has, more will be given,
but from the one who has not,
even what he has will be taken away.
This sounds grossly unfair...why should those
who are well off be given more?
Why should we take away the little
a person has who is poor?
We have a generous God.
He is always willing and ready to give you more....
more love...more...peace...more happiness...
more hope...more forgiveness.
God is abundance...
God gives to those who follow him
until their cup is overflowing...
He just keeps on giving...
God gives to his chosen ones without boundaries.
How will God be able to give you more if you
keep your distance from him?
He will not force himself on anyone...
He will not coerce you into taking more.
At the same time God will not toss you aside
to be forgotten.
Perhaps those who are closest to God receive more
because they are more willing to share with others.
Peter, Paul and all of the Saints
reveal to us that even in their darkest of times
God continues to minister to their soul....
He continues to give them more.
It is stored up in their hearts
until which time they are able to find it.
reveal to us that even in their darkest of times
God continues to minister to their soul....
He continues to give them more.
It is stored up in their hearts
until which time they are able to find it.
Jesus chose the topics for his parables very carefully.
The subject needed to be one where the locals
could see themselves.
Blessed with a God who will never give up on you.
Our God continues to pour out his love for you
until your soul is overflowing.
The subject needed to be one where the locals
could see themselves.
Blessed with a God who will never give up on you.
Our God continues to pour out his love for you
until your soul is overflowing.
...to everyone who has, more will be given...
~~~Peace~~~
